Thinking of the Middle Ages, in terms of design, we think of the play of shadows and lights, of the contrasts between the raw material and the more finely worked one.
The room design combines an understated style with contemporary forays, where stylization and authenticity complement each other.
We used a mix of elements that recall medieval taverns or ancient castles: the aged wood, the skylight on the roof, the bed suspended with chains, and the lights that recall the torches that lit up the alleys of a castle. The sloping ceiling with dark beams contrasts with the bright blue walls of the bathroom.
